How do I make a reservation?
Making a reservation is very easy. We use an exceptional management service nearby for housekeeping and maintenance, and to accept credit card payments. The deposit is 50%, with the balance due 21 days before arrival. (For reservations one year or more in advance, the deposit is $1000.) The service has a system that allows your keys to be left at the property, saving you vacation time since there's no need to "check in" at their office (although they're conveniently close by if you need them). To make a reservation, you can just email us your preferred daytime phone number, and we make the reservation for you, reply with a confirmation number, and then we have the service call you regarding deposit. They also mail you a confirmation and can answer any questions related to your reservation.
Is there a minimum stay?
There is a one week minimum stay (Saturday to Saturday) from the first weekend in March through Labor Day week. Otherwise, there are four night minimums, with either a check-in or a check-out on a Saturday. We can occasionally offer more flexibility from December through February, or within 10 days of arrival.
What is the cancellation policy?
Full refunds are issued for cancellations up to 180 days before arrival. Optional, reasonably priced travel insurance, also providing full refunds, is available through our management service if desired.
What are your policies on pets and smoking?
We love pets, but due to the large number of guests who report being sensitive or allergic, they (the pets) aren't permitted at our properties. Likewise, there is no smoking allowed inside any property.
How does the Free Damage Insurance work?
Free Incidental Damage Insurance: You're on vacation to have a great time, not to worry about accidental damage that could occur during your stay. That's why we provide free damage insurance (up to $3000), which covers incidental damage to the home or contents. Please note it does not cover intentional or negligent damage, and the damage must be reported during your stay. More details are available through our management service, who arrange the coverage for you. Again, there is no charge to you when you rent any of the Best Beach Place properties!
